Portuguese Joao Félix met up with Uruguayans Luis Suárez and José María Giménez on Monday during the match for the Qatar 2022 World Cup

Portuguese striker Joao Félix reunited on Monday during the Uruguay vs Portugal match at the Qatar 2022 World Cup with Luis Suárez, with whom he played at Atlético de Madrid, and with José María Giménez, who remains his teammate at Atlético de Madrid.
Felix later shared photos with both of them on his Instagram stories, although he clarified that one of them liked seeing it, but the other not so much.
Under a photo of him hugging Suárez at the end of the match, the Portuguese wrote: "Luis Suárez, good to see you" and a heart.

In May 2022, when Suárez said goodbye to Atlético, Joao Félix dedicated an emotional message to him: "It was an honour to have lived incredible moments at your side and to be able to learn from a world-renowned football figure. ¡Thank you for everything you have done for me and for Atlético!".
Then, on another photo, in which Giménez is holding him by the arm while marking him, the forward wrote: "I didn't like seeing you so much anymore, José María Giménez", although he added smiley emoticons.
The Uruguayan took seriously the saying that there are no friends on the field and he stressed it quite strongly every time he had to face the Portuguese.
