The National Food, Drug and Medical Technology Administration (ANMAT) banned this Wednesday the use, marketing and distribution throughout the national territory of perfumes that were offered by a user of the social network Instagram and of a anti-inflammatory atom.
Through the Provision 9532/2022, published in the Official Gazette, and with the signature of the head of the institution, Manuel Limeres, the Government removed from circulation the products “PERFUME BLOODY, PERFUME EUPHORIA, PERFUME MAFFIA, PERFUME MALVINAS EL POZO, PERFUME IN YOUR FACE, all of the NL NINA LAMAISON brand, PERFUME CLOSE TO ME by GONZEL and PERFUME brand BABY VITO”.
The investigations were carried out through a complaint made by a user, who attached screenshots of the publications of the Instagram social network profile called @lamaison.nina and @gonzel_parfum in which the products under study were offered for sale.
The owner of the account @lamaison.nina He replied that he was not engaged in the sale of products, while the account holder @gonzel_parfum did not respond to the email.
When Anmat consulted the database of registered cosmetic products, it was determined that the identification records of the perfumes did not correspond to any cosmetic that had the proper registration and that There is no record of any laboratory authorized under the name of NINA LAMAISON.
On the other hand, through the Provision 9533/2022, the prohibition of the use, marketing and distribution of the product “ÁTOMO DESINFLAMANTE Clásico, Batch 191-21. Expiration 11/22/2024. Argentine Industry. Cont. 250 cc. Laboratorios Prosan SA” was determined.
The investigation began when the technical manager of the firm IMVI SA informed the Market Control Department of the detection of the sale of counterfeit units of the product in question, in a store located in the town of Gualeguaychú, province of Entre Ríos.
A visual comparison with the original units revealed significant differences, such as the fact that the original product is only sold in 110-gram and 220-gram presentations, while the counterfeit unit details 250 cc as its content. The original units have the primary packaging (jar) in orange with a white lid, while the counterfeit unit has the primary packaging (jar) in white with a white lid.
