Through their stories On Instagram, an account on which she has 6.2 million followers, Elianis Garrido thanked the people who have been following her health, which was worrying due to her sudden departure from the program, and stated that she was fine.
“I took a few days off because I had surgery. "I'm fine. Recovering satisfactorily," she stated in her post. After her announcement, the Barranquilla native returned to social media and her Instagram story posts as she did before. No further details of the surgery or the reasons for this procedure are known at this time.
Previously, the presenter had already left the cameras of the Channel One program, but for different reasons, since after many stated that it could be her definitive departure from the entertainment news program, it was the Elianis herself denied this and confirmed that she was on vacation with her husband.

Regarding her partner and the lack of visibility he has on social media, the Barranquilla native also gave her opinion and stated that their relationship was not over despite speculative comments from people after noticing that Elianis Garrido didn't "tag" her partner on social media.
“People rudely ask me why I don't tag my husband. Why don't I post him in photos or videos all the time? Why did I separate so quickly? Who understands people?” she stated in her profile stories.
