Vithas launches its podcast "Historias & Historiales," featuring doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, along with their patients and families, and hosted on the popular streaming platform Spotify.
Over successive chapters, the podcast will tell first-person stories of personal and professional success hidden behind medical records, and how the fight against illness unites doctors and patients, who experience moments of despair and pain together, as well as moments of optimism and joy when everything goes well.
Similarly, "Historias & Historiales" will reveal little-known aspects of the daily life of healthcare professionals in a hospital, where people pass through in one way or another throughout their entire life cycle, from birth to death.
Óscar Márquez, Corporate Director of Sales, Marketing, and Communications at Vithas and the driving force behind the podcast, explained that "our goal is to bring the most human, emotional, and realistic side of our healthcare activity to society, and we thought the podcast was the perfect channel to do so."
All of this, adds Óscar Márquez, is part of "our commitment to highlighting the extraordinary daily work of our professionals, as well as the trust that so many patients and their families place in Vithas, patients who are often an example of overcoming difficulties and resilience for all of us."
As a preview of the podcast, Vithas has produced a teaser featuring excerpts from the first three episodes, which will be published on Spotify in the coming weeks, as well as on the group's social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube), and on the website vithas.es.
