At this Christmas time everyone wants to show off to their loved ones, giving them gifts that they expect, need or simply would never expect, as did the popular music singer Yeison Jiménez, who not only spent a good amount of money on the present for his mother, Mrs. Luz Galeano, but took him to his mother's house to surprise him.
It was on his official Instagram account where Yeison showed his followers and all of Colombia the giant present for his mother, in a very emotional video where you can see the exact moment when a black Toyota Fortuner truck turns the corner and parks in front of Doña Luz's house, leaving her amazed and very moved, because a car like that is not received every day.
“Thank you, life has given me so much! Enjoy it! My big day is from me and my followers! MERRY CHRISTMAS!”, wrote the singer in his publication, which already has more than 47 thousand likes and countless comments, including: “God bless you, good son,” “What a beauty!”, “How beautiful. How lovely that you fulfilled his dream,” “It was very interesting, Doña Luz,” “What a good son, she doesn’t seem so convinced, but she accepted him,” and many more.
There was one comment in particular that got a lot of laughs from the singer's 4.2 million followers. It was written by comedian Piter Albeiro, who showed off his talent for creating comedic situations out of any life event. “I’m a mother, if you’re going to buy me a gift,” was the comedian’s message in Jiménez’s post.
"How do you imagine your car? A good one or not? Look, I'll give you your car, old lady.""What's up, Mom? Merry Christmas, God bless... I love you so much, enjoy it," the singer says in the video clip as they're waiting for the van. "How does it look, Mom? Merry Christmas, God bless... I love you so much, enjoy it," the artist adds, receiving a hearty kiss from his mother. They then go to see the interior of the van, complete with luxury upholstery and all the accessories of a state-of-the-art model.
"Christmas is here for my mother! Thank you for giving me life," reads a static message that accompanies the entire video segment, which has sparked the love and admiration of thousands for Jiménez, one of the most important exponents of popular music on the current Colombian music scene.
In the end, Doña Luz gets into her truck and smiles as she holds the steering wheel of her new vehicle, always with a smile on her face that betrays the joy that her son, whom she has supported since he began his artistic career, has just given her. “Why should I be so,” Yeison continues, also excited and almost in tears, because he feels fulfilled giving this type of luxury to the person who gave him life.
The singer is closing out 2022 in style with new music, as seen on the artist's Instagram stories, where he's promoting the new single Jiménez just released: Pure rage, a song of heartbreak that speaks of the impulsive decisions made due to heartbreak and breakups.
The singer has also shown in his videos how he leaves the barbershop when he decides to touch up his hairstyle, very unique among his popular music colleagues, with a lot of volume on top and faded on the sides. “I always like to tell stories when I get my hair cut, it’s the only time I get my hair done properly.”, the singer said with a laugh.
