People who want to tell stories about the municipality are still invited to participate through Microcajeme. | Special
Ciudad Obregón.- With the third edition of Microcajeme, La Biznaga Cartonera seeks to continue telling stories of the municipality through the voice of its people, for which they invite citizens to participate. 
Ana Alicia Mejía, a member of the publishing house, stated that They began receiving micro-stories on December 5th and the call will be open until March 12th, 2023.

Participants can be of any age, he commented. The only requirement is to be a resident of Cajeme or a foreigner, to have lived in the municipality for some time, and to tell a story in a maximum of 95 words.
In the last two editions of the project, he said, received more than 1,500 texts, so they hope to surpass these numbers this time.
He explained that Now that the call for submissions has closed, 200 micro-stories have been selected from the total number of micro-stories received to appear in a print edition., and there are winners in different categories such as children, youth, adults, seniors, among others.
"We want to promote our community's right to express ourselves through writing. This is a microfiction contest that seeks to find short stories throughout the municipality, from children, youth, adults, seniors, and also from the Yaqui communities, that tell the different ways we see the world here in the municipality," he stated.

He added that, also, They hold workshops on creative writing and how to write a micro-story for any space that opens its doors., and some places where they have already taught are Itama, the Escuela Normal Superior, some Community Centers, among others.
