This was generated by the lawsuit filed by Bored Ape's company against Not Larva, accusing the brand of infringing copyright to supposedly divert attention from this controversial policy.
According to the published by Jeremy Cahen, founder of Not Larva Labs, it was discovered that Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) is allegedly run by far-right racists and white supremacists, in the report It stands out that famous streamers like xQc, Hasan Abi and MoistCr1TiKaL, among others, were key pieces in the dissemination of these alleged links between Bored Ape and supremacist and racist organizations, using the hashtag #BURNBAYC to protest against BAYC.
As indicated, these content creators, thanks to their fame and influence, managed to make the hashtag go viral, which was key to discovering that this giant NFT company was related to far-right, racist and supremacist people.
