Radio Rock & Pop (94.1 FM in Santiago), one of the most prestigious radio stations in the country, will celebrate its 30th anniversary today.. For this, the station will have a special programming, which reviews its long and successful history in radio, magazines, film, television, digital platforms, social media, and more. A unique story with a great impact on Chilean culture.
Great figures will be part of this celebration such as Roberto Artiagoitia (El Rumpy), Sergio Lagos, Patricio Cuevas, Matilda Svensson, Rolando Ramos, Iván Valenzuela, Claudio Narea and Alejandro D'Apremont (Chico Jano). And since 1992 the brand has set trends and has managed to permanently identify a generation in different themes and musical tastes.
For his part, communicator and musician Sergio Lagos shared his vision of radio: “For me, Rock & Pop is a cry for freedom. A means of communication that gave a voice to those who had no voice, and I don't just speak about it in the realm of music, but also in the realm of ideas. Rock and Pop is freedom, and it will continue to be so for 30 years and more.”
