Instagram: Users report platform outages on Tuesday – El Universal

Through social networks, some users reported that the platform Instagram presented failures This Tuesday, December 20, restricting access to the feed and the loading of posts. 
 
According to the portal DownDetector, a website that reports on the status of various applications and sites, the problems reported were: burden 60%, feed 22%, application 17%.
So far, no statement has been issued regarding what caused the outages on this social network.

Instagram is a social network dating back to 2010 and was originally available only for iPhones. However, due to its rapid popularity, an Android version was released in early 2012, a beta version for Windows Phone was launched in 2013, and it was finally officially released for this device in 2016.
According to the Digital 2022 report by We Are Social and Hootsuite, the photo platform has 1.478 billion users worldwide, with an age range between 16 and 64 years old, and 14.81% of those said that Instagram is their favorite app.
