His more than 4.2 million followers began to wonder what had happened to him. A question that remained unresolved until Tuesday night.
In his live broadcast, JuanDa acknowledged that he had fought a tough battle against mental health issues over the past six months.
“For many years I have hated myself, I have hated my life, I have hated many of the things I represent, and I feel like I am a burden,” she confessed.
However, she assured that thanks to 'Chandosa', her pet, she remains steadfast in her fight to share her fears.
After this episode, JuanDa called one of his closest friends and fellow influencer, Elbrayan. He ultimately convinced him to go to a psychiatric hospital to treat his depression, Infobae reported.
He stated that at the rehabilitation center he began a process of total isolation, where he had no opportunity to talk to his friends or loved ones, much less access his cell phone or use social media.
Then, after progressing in his therapy, he said he was moved to a section where he was allowed contact with other people being treated for other mental health conditions.
At the end of her video, she assured the more than 500,000 people who tuned in that she was back on social media and would be reactivating her engagement on her verified accounts.
