Browsing the web we can find different pages to buy products online, where scammers or con artists are never lacking, most often in the case of sellers; however, in the following viral story, it's the buyer who apparently tried to defraud the supplier.
The incident occurred in Mexico and was reported by 'Milenio'. Apparently, a user purchased a Christmas tree through the buying and selling website 'mercadolibre.com' before the holiday season; however, curiously, in early January, he requested a refund.
The buyer claimed they no longer wanted the product, and through an alternative offered on the website, they were requesting a refund of their payment, as can be seen in the screenshot that went viral on various social platforms.
“All of December has passed and now you're returning it, haha. “If you wanted a free tree, you could have just asked for it. I'd give it to you without a problem.”", was the seller's response, very mortified because he probably felt cheated.
As is well known, some online sales sites offer the option of returning your purchase if you no longer want the product; although in this case, it's unknown whether this option was ultimately used.
