A few hours ago, Ivonne Montero alerted his fans by uploading a series of photographs in which he is seen with a surgical patch on one of his eyes, while the other of his eyeballs looks frankly irritated, which generated speculation among Instagram users, who immediately began to question the winner of “The House of Famous People 2” about his health status, which he had not yet commented on.
However, in an interview with “De Primera Mano”, the beautiful showgirl decided to break the silence and explain what happened to him and why he didn't give a more extensive explanation on social media, where he only wrote "A fatal oversight family... Send me your good wishes," adding a series of photographs from the hospital.
According to what was stated by Ivonne Montero, it all started with a small oversight, since she always uses contact lenses to read in her free time, for which she usually carries with her a liquid that is used to moisten this type of lenses in her case, however, during one of her tours, she forgot this liquid, so it was easy for her to moisten her lenses with eye drops, without imagining that later this would cause her to lose her vision.
“I forgot that I had left them in drops, so I put them back in and I had them in my eyes for about an hour and a bit, but then I felt a very strong burning sensation with them in my eyes, they were watering, but I never imagined that I was doing so much damage to my corneas, I burned both corneas, I was already seeing blurry, in the end I couldn't stand it, I took them out and to my surprise I no longer had vision,” he said. Ivonne Montero.
However, fortunately, the damage was reversible, as the singer immediately went to the doctor, where they gave her an intensive eye wash and explained that she had burned her corneas with the liquid, so they had to patch her left eye, which was the most damaged.
The incident took place last Monday, as explained by the woman herself. Ivonne Montero, who pointed out that everything happened when she was preparing to go to a photo shoot to promote her new play entitled "Busco el hombre de mi vida, marido ya tuvo" (I'm looking for the man of my life, I already had a husband), which will soon premiere, since it was just then that she tried to put on her glasses, forgetting that they were not in the liquid intended for their storage, causing a laceration to her corneas.
And even though at that time Ivonne Montero felt discomfort in her eyes and immediately rinsed her eyes, the damage was already caused and was consecutive to the moment in which the actress reinserted the contact lenses in her eyes, which only ended up hurting her corneas more, which now cannot be exposed to light, dust or more external factors, reasons for which, the beautiful showgirl will remain makeup-free and somewhat inactive on social media for a few weeks.
