The stories of Instagram, as the social network itself says on its website, are a quick and easy way to share moments and experiences using text, music, stickers and GIFs. The following tricks allow you to make the most of the possibilities of the social network, so that your stories come to life and stand out from the rest.

There are third-party effects that are not predefined on Instagram and that allow you to add extra features to your stories. Some that are currently very popular are those that generate a message that appears over the Instagrammer's head indicating how old they appear to be, where they are going on vacation or which animal they most resemble. To use it, you simply have to access the profile of someone who has already applied the effect, in the story that shows it and by clicking on the bottom part, a menu of options will appear through which you can save, test or send said effect to another person.
Sharing a recipe
If you want to share your stories with a limited group of people, you can do it this way: go to the menu and go to the “Best Friends” section of your Instagram profile. In the “Your List” section, add the people you want to include in your group so they can see your stories, and when you go to publish a story, select the “Best Friends” option.
To expand the range of colors you want to use in your stories, open the story and select the brush. If you long-press any of the colors that appear in the predefined palette, the full palette will appear with the entire range of colors so you can make your selection.

Hashtags, although useful, can end up dirtying up our story a bit, so this easy method can hide them while maintaining all their functionality without covering up our content. To do this, it's as simple as putting them behind a gif or an emoji or, the cleanest way, putting the same fill color as the background, making them invisible to us but not to Instagram.

If you're going to add text to your story, it's important to know how to change the font and color of the text. Once you've written the text and before hitting Done, you must press the circular colored button at the top of the screen to change the color of the text. To change the font, you must press the button that says "A" next to the colors to see the fonts that Instagram makes available to you.

You can install templates on Instagram to make your stories more distinctive and exclusive. To do this, you must download the “Unfold Story Templates” tool on Android. With it, you get a library of hundreds of templates with numerous effects and fonts to apply to your stories.
