The influencer's nightmare: Instagram limits the number of stories you can post – elEconomista

Instagram is reportedly testing an update to display a maximum of three stories from each user in an attempt to reduce the mass publication of these posts, although you can still upload and access as many stories as you want.
Instagram Stories was one of the keys to the rise of this platform. The ability to upload content that would disappear after 24 hours prompted people to post everything they did or thought about in their daily lives.
Of course, everyone does what they want with their Instagram profile, but it's true that the chronological nature of these posts encouraged us to upload any type of post, regardless of the content. From influencers to people with barely any followers, it's true that we often ended up bored of seeing so many stories from the same person.
That's why the company has extended a test for this function, with which it intends only show a maximum of three stories from the same account at first, even if this person has uploaded more. This doesn't mean they're going to impose a story limit; currently the maximum is set at 100 stories published in 24 hours, but instead of showing all the stories, the app will select three.
Apparently, the company is testing this update in Brazil, as user @philricelle took a screenshot of this feature. As we can see in the image, only three lines are displayed, referencing the three selected stories, and next to it you can read 3 of 33 along with a link to be able to access the rest of the published stories.

Olha just as it is. To see all, click on “Show all” pic.twitter.com/cHrHL6enUD
This decision suggests that Instagram has also grown tired of its platform being filled with low-quality Stories, and wants this feature to improve in quality, just as posts did with the arrival of Stories.
This, in turn, poses a dilemma, especially for influencers, who make a living from this, as they will now have to be much more selective when publishing stories. Since this is a test, the company has not yet officially announced anything, so We do not know how the stories that will be shown will be chosen. if this feature is ever extended globally.

With so many influencers, I think we don't even need to go to school anymore because they know everything, absolutely everything. Innate science? Millions of enlightened and gifted people around the world in just four days? We're doing well, very well...
