A few days ago, Instagram users came across a new feature that the app implemented in your direct messages: the notes.
What at first seems like a kind of tweet or status (as happens with WhatsApp phrases), is actually a virtual sticky note that allows the user write what you think in 60 characters.
This little message lasts 24 hours at the top of the menus direct messaging and also functions as a channel to more easily access conversations with other users because, by clicking on the note, a chat with that user will immediately open.

The new feature will allow users to post their thoughts at any time of day.

On the other hand, it's important to clarify that a note remains public for a period of 24 hours. If you want to add or write another message, the previous comment will be deleted.
In order to use the new feature of the Meta app, You will need to download the latest version of Instagram on your phone. Once you have done this, you should follow these steps:
1. Open the app and select the direct messages section or the Messenger logo in the right corner of the main page.
You can access it by going to Instagram messages.

2. Once there, you'll see your contacts' profile photos in bubble form. A "+" icon should appear above yours.
3. When you touch it, You will be given the option to write your note and choose who can see it, just like in the main stories.
There you can see your friends' statuses.

4. When you're ready to post, tap the "share" option in the top right.

To replace and delete the note, tap the bubble with your profile picture again. There, you'll see the options "delete note" or "leave note."
Additionally, Meta announced on December 13th what new features the app will be bringing throughout the month. While sticky notes are the most notable new feature, Instagram will also be rolling out new features in a few days. the “group profiles” feature, which will allow you to share posts and stories on an exclusive profile with friends.
The feature will be available in the next update.

According to the official statement, "Whenever you share content on a group profile, it will only be visible to group members, not your followers, and it will be posted to the group profile instead of yours."
(We recommend: WhatsApp will let you leave groups without telling anyone: Mark Zuckerberg gives details).
Even, competing with the successful photo app 'BeReal'Instagram will also enable a feature that will remind users at a random time of day to take a photo and upload it to their stories, showing what they are doing at that precise moment.
