Since the departure of the was known for many, best soccer player in history: Pelé, there are several unpublished photographs that have been coming to light on social networks until they have become viral, and one of the latest describes a meeting between the Brazilian star alongside none other than Mario Moreno 'Cantinflas'.
And although Pelé also has a short history with cinema, this meeting between the two icons only occurred in 1959, according to the website 'La Afición'. It took place during a Santos FC tour led by Pelé throughout Mexico. The tour lasted 42 days and provided an opportunity for dialogue.

The aforementioned media outlet reports that Mario Moreno invited the entire Santos team to lunch at his home, where there was no shortage of laugh-filled conversations, as was characteristic of the comedian, who was also at the height of his career during the golden age of Mexican cinema.
While Pelé had just won the world championship with the Brazilian national team at the 1958 tournament in Sweden, Cantinflas had just released the film Up and Down, one of his comedies that he wrote, starred in, and directed, becoming another of his audiovisual gems.
Of course, the date between the two stars had to be immortalized in a photograph that, right now in the middle of 2022, has gone viral on websites like '@el_historiador__' and has spread around the world, after they are probably together again in the firmament.
