Meta's Instagram app is ready to continue adding features that make it more interesting for users. Here are some of the things the social network is preparing for the new year.
Instagram, property of Goal, is one of the most widely used social networks in the world, and this popularity requires it to always be at the forefront, with the goal of keeping users captive and not looking for other options (which are increasingly more common in the industry).
The application, owned by Mark Zuckerberg, has been characterized by emulating features of other tools, as it did at the time with Snapchat stories, so it is expected that next year it will add the microblogging, like Twitter, and unfiltered photo posts, like those on BeReal.
One of the new features that Instagram will launch in 2023 is Notes, in which users will be able to write text messages of no more than 60 characters between letters and emojis, which, according to ThirteenBits, can only be read by users who follow each other or for the “best friends” list.
Another feature that will be available on Instagram will be Candids, a new way to upload photos on the social network, as users will not be able to apply filters to them, with the aim of making them as "real" as possible.
In addition, Goal has created instagram.com/hacked, a feature that aims to help people recover accounts that have been hacked.
Through this portal, Internet users can explain why they cannot access their profiles:
