The Castilian-Manchegan influencer Rocio Camacho has shared in his Instagram Another of their highly anticipated monthly videos raising awareness on various topics. This time has dealt with animal abandonment, with images that have already gone viral, reaching More than 145,000 likes in less than 24 hours.
Before its publication, Rocío shared a story about the recording process. “We were filming at the Abrazo Animal Shelter in Madrid, and it was very sad to see the number of abandoned animals there.”
In the video, the influencer from Calzada de Calatrava (Ciudad Real) makes a plea to eradicate animal abandonment. She also points out that Spain is the European leader in this scourge, so asks people to think about whether they are ready before getting a pet. "What separates humans from animals is that our selfishness and cowardice always outweigh empathy. Family can't be bought or sold. It's cared for and protected for life. “A pet is not a whim, but a responsibility.”
