Just a few days after the fall of WhatsApp, This Monday, it is the social network Instagram—also owned by Meta—that is experiencing problems.
On Twitter, numerous users from different countries have reported having trouble logging in, even receiving an "account suspended" message. Others, however, are able to log in normally.
There are also repeated complaints from users who claim that when they check their profiles, they realize that their followers have disappeared.
According to the website DownDetector, which reports service outages on this and other platforms, there was a spike in problem notifications shortly before 2:00 p.m.
“We are aware that some of you are having trouble accessing your Instagram account. We are investigating this and apologize for the inconvenience,” the company tweeted, along with the hashtag #instagramdown.
