Is going viral everything? | Style – Los Andes (Mendoza)

Since the pandemic, we've seen a surge in Instagram users due to its short, immediate video format, which is so addictive to watch. As a result, everyone is talking about how to make Instagram content go viral, how to create reels with the most likes and shares, and how to use trending audio clips.
What does going viral mean? It's a way to grow your account quickly, although to achieve this, your content must be original and fun. Instagram Reels is one of Instagram's latest additions. This new feature has a clear objective: to compete with TikTok, one of the most popular social networks. In other words, it aims to allow users to consume the content they like without having to go to another social network. Obviously, there are no magic formulas for making your content go viral. You can apply many of the same strategies when publishing a new post, but there's no guarantee that it will be a winning piece of content.
This time, I'm not going to give you tips for going viral. To be honest, you don't need your post to go viral to be confident in your content, much less to get more clients. Read on to discover some things I wish I'd known when I started on social media.
We live in an age where Instagram is saturated with content. In many of my consulting sessions, I meet frustrated entrepreneurs and content creators, doubting their potential and authenticity because they share content that "doesn't work." Many tell me they can't escape trends, creating dances and current reels to get views and using popular songs for the same purpose: getting more likes.

Much more important is sharing content that adds value. The question is, if likes, comments, and statistics didn't exist, would you publish that content?
If that content makes you feel good, then post it. Stop worrying about whether others will like it or not, or how many likes it will get. That will make creating content feel easier. Otherwise, sooner or later, you'll get frustrated.
At this point, social media triggers these feelings and actions. Both Instagram and TikTok promote trending content and challenges or current topics because their goal is to get you, me, and the rest of the users to spend as much time as possible on the platform.
Many fall into the trap of believing that the number of followers will give them more security, greater positioning, or worse yet, more sales. That's why many choose to buy followers in bulk, without considering that this is where their engagement ends, resulting in accounts being banned.
Authentic, organic, and real content! Low production, but full of storytelling. # digital strategy #content creation
One of the things we confuse with authenticity is being original. And we often think we're not being original if we create content that other people have already created. You've probably wanted to do a "get ready with me" many times, and your mind says... everyone else has already done that, do something more original.
I have a secret for you, the key is in how you communicate it, even though many people are doing GRWM, yours is yours.
We often look for authenticity in the wrong places. Authenticity lies within you. You create the content, your voice is heard, you choose how to present it, your personality—that's where your authenticity lies.
The fact that you create that content is authenticity enough.
I hope you enjoyed these tips as much as I did and that you can put them into practice. If you liked what you read and you think it can be useful to someone else, I invite you to do so. share.
