Xiaomi is in the final testing phase for the next major update to its software to MIUI 14The latest beta versions are already being tested in preparation for the debut with the future Xiaomi 13 series at the end of the month.
Thanks to these versions, two of the major features that the Xiaomi development team has implemented for this new version have become known. MIUI 14 will arrive without bloatware and without ads, at least in China.
According to the information that has been obtained from the versions of MIUI that are in the testing phase, The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro will arrive in the Chinese market without pre-installed third-party apps.But we'll have to wait for global release to see if this feature is retained in the global ROM.
Aside from this new feature, to improve performance and user experience with MIUI, advertising has been removed. We will also find a new smart folder system that would improve our way of interacting with it.
The preliminary list (unofficial by Xiaomi) of the main Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO models that will be able to receive MIUI 14 has increased compared to the initially defined models. On the other hand, we now also have the first list of models that will remain in their current version and will not receive these improvements.
