First Instagram photo
On October 6, 2010, a social network emerged that revolutionized the way images were shared and edited on the Internet: Instagram.
Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger released it for Apple devices. At the time, the creators had no idea that their project would quickly become one of the most popular platforms worldwide, to the point that in less than two years (April 2012) it already had 100 million registered users.
In its first 12 years of life, the photo and video sharing app has had important milestones regarding posts that acquire many likes, Such is the case of a photo of Kylie Jenner's baby holding her thumb or the image of the egg that claims to be the most popular on the site (56.1 million likes).
Instagram, which usually arouses a lot of curiosity among users andwhich was the first photograph that was shared.
In a 2015 TIME interview, Kevin noted like the first photo of a portrait he took of a little dog looking directly into his camera.
“If I had known it would be the first photo posted on Instagram, I think I would have put in a little more effort.". "It is worth noting that the photo was taken in Mexico, near a taco stand, the article noted.

But when reviewing the founder's profile, there is a photo prior to the dog that was taken during the social network's testing phase (when it wasn't yet called Instagram): that of a screen with various illuminated logos. This postcard, which has accumulated 245,000 likes to date, was taken on July 16, 2010.
