You\u2019ll see a variety of creative editing tools on the left side of the screen that will allow you to create your reel. For example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Audio:<\/em>&nbsp;Find a song in the Instagram Music Library. You can also record a reel with your own original audio. When you share a reel with original audio, that audio will be attributed to you, and if you have a public account, people will be able to create reels with it.<\/li><li><em>AR Effects:<\/em>&nbsp;To record multiple clips with different effects, select an effect from our gallery, developed by Instagram and creators from all over the world.<\/li><li><em>Timer and countdown:<\/em>&nbsp;Set a timer to record clips hands-free. Once you press record, you\u2019ll see a \u201c3-2-1\u201d countdown before recording begins for the time you select.<\/li><li><em>Alignment:<\/em>&nbsp;Line up objects from your previous clips before recording the next one. This will help you create smoother transitions between different moments, such as changing clothes or adding new friends to your reel.<\/li><li><em>Speed:&nbsp;<\/em>You can speed up or slow down selected portions of video or audio so you can keep up with the flow or create slow motion videos.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Reels can be recorded in a series of clips (one at a time), all together, or with videos from your gallery. Press and hold the capture button to record the first clip. You&#039;ll see a progress indicator at the top of the screen as you record.
