The new year is just beginning, and for that reason, there's no time to waste. Letting the days pass without anything on our radar would be fatal. It's true that sometimes we get caught up in routine and boredom, and the daily grind of our jobs ends up absorbing us, but that shouldn't be an excuse not to go out in search of a good book.
We may not have time to go to the bookstore and lose ourselves among the shelves for a few hours, but we certainly have time to grab our phones and open Instagram for a few minutes.
In the app, we can find some accomplices who, like us, are looking for that new book and, every time they find it, they leave us something to crave. They're like their breadcrumbs, precisely placed to guide us to the most moving, disturbing, and astonishing reads.
Now, if the intention is to read more Colombian literary writers this year, there are a good number of readers who keep track of new voices and bring up those established authors of yesteryear, and they update us from time to time on the best they come across along the way.
Some people call them "bookstagrammers," content creators who specialize in books or related topics, but I prefer to think of them as simply readers who want to talk about what they read with other readers. Ultimately, it's not so much how much they read, but how they tell us about their readings, how we connect with them, that's why we follow them.
You probably have a couple of those wonderful accounts in mind, or maybe you can't think of any. If you've come this far, it's because the subject interests you.
This time, on Infobae Leamos, I'm sharing five that you may not have been aware of and, in my opinion, are not to be missed. Each account has its own style, and the people behind them\u2014the readers\u2014have a unique way of approaching books and making us want to read more and more.

If what you are looking for is a judicious reader who will even share with you her strategies and tricks to read more and better, then Carolina Gonz\u00e1lez Correa<\/b> is the one.
She reads everything and shares almost everything on her @casa__libros. She has a particular attraction to literature written by women, although she's not a feminist in her own right, and she's a list-maker. With her, you can keep everything organized to start your reading.
Anthony Pulgar\u00edn<\/b> He's probably the most popular bookseller in Medell\u00edn these days. He worked at Bukz and was the face of the bookstore during its transition from a virtual to a physical store. On his Instagram account, he's become known for his unique way of connecting with books, which, ultimately, are his best friends. He's a tremendous promoter of readings and books by new authors. He knows exactly where to focus his attention, and when he talks about what he's reading, he's incredibly spontaneous, which makes us feel welcomed. But beware, every post of his carries the potential risk of bankrupting us, because we'll want to buy every book he reviews.

Her passion for poetry and admiration for the work of independent publishing houses in Colombia make her an incomparable reader. Laura Arenas<\/b> He has the unique ability to speak with sound judgment about any book and put the most complex concepts on a level with everyone else. His critical reading skills are astonishing. If the idea is to find someone who recommends based on taste and judgment, who straddles the line between the unusual and the authentic, then his @sabeapapel account is the perfect fit.
Journalist, editor, writer, and tireless reader. If Colombia has started to see an increasing number of readers sharing what they read on this social network, it's largely due to the work she's been doing. Vanessa Vel\u00e1squez<\/b> for several years. A book club promoter, a recommender of books in English, curious and rigorous in her reading. In a way, her account functions as an appendix to her work as a cultural manager. When it comes to doing something related to books\u2014book clubs, events, anything\u2014she's the first to promote it.
Aesthetics, good taste, and solid reviewing are what this account offers. Although it's just starting out and doesn't have many followers, it promises quality in every post. As its username suggests, it approaches each book from the perspective of the editor. With Nina, you're going for safe bets: well-conceived, refined, and, above all, interesting books.
