He CEO <\/b>from Meta, Mark Zuckerberg<\/b>, announced a new update of WhatsApp <\/b>which includes new features and functions that the messaging application has been developing in its beta version<\/b> over the last year and that finally arrive on the platform in a new update<\/b>.
\u201cWith the Communities, the administrators <\/b>They will have the tools to organize conversations (\u2026)\u201d, Zuckerberg indicates in a video <\/b>published on his personal Instagram account. In addition, new features were shown that will become part of the application <\/b>developed by Meta.
The CEO of the company technology <\/b>indicated that the platform of messages <\/b>improved the user experience within group chats with tools <\/b>as the reactions. He also mentioned that now the users <\/b>can share larger files. \u201cWe are now rolling out surveys, voice calls with 32 people<\/b>, shareable links to schedule a video call, and more.\u201d
In August of this year the application started the beta test <\/b>of the Communities feature, which offers a simpler way for users to communicate with the different groups they are part of. To do this, WhatsApp <\/b>enabled a new tab within the application located at the top left of the screen in the case of Android<\/b>.
While the feature was already available to some users of the operating system<\/b> of Android<\/b>, with this announcement it is confirmed that the devices that use the system iOS <\/b>will also have access to this feature <\/b>with the button that will be enabled at the bottom of the screen of the application<\/b>.
Within the announcement it was also indicated that WhatsApp<\/b> will enable the function <\/b>to react to messages within group and personal chats for all users of the application <\/b>all over the world.
Another new feature of the application is that you can send files by WhatsApp <\/b>up to 2 GB <\/b>at once with the protection of end-to-end encryption. This increases the previous limit of 100 MB<\/b>. According to the official publication of the platform<\/b> of messages<\/b>, a counter was also added while downloading or uploading files<\/b>.
