The sighting of carnivorous flies has raised concerns, as this insect was thought to be extinct since 1836, more than 180 years ago.
Have you ever heard about the carnivorous flies<\/b> or bearded vultures, because these are real, and the worst part is that this is an ancient species that was thought to be extinct more than a century ago and is now reappearing in France, keeping the population on alert.

What's most surprising to experts is that this species was thought to be extinct since 1836, more than a century ago. In fact, it was included on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) list of endangered species.
This species, almost 10 millimeters long and whose main characteristic is its bright orange head, metallic blue body and a pair of black spots on the wings, was first described by Georg Wolfgang Franz Panzer in 1798, under the name of Musca Cynophila<\/i>, which in German was described as Hundefliege ( fly <\/a> <\/span><\/span>-dog) since it was found on the corpse of a dog.
Another detail that has been given is that the carnivorous flies <\/b>They are active in winter, since the cold does not seem to affect the larvae that feed on decomposing animal carcasses in the snow.
