"I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological condition called stiff person syndrome, which affects one in a million people. While we're still learning about this rare condition, we now know that this is what's been causing all the spasms I've been experiencing," she says.
The singer is incredibly emotional and at times unable to hold back her tears when she talks about the condition she suffers from: "The spasms affect every aspect of my life."<\/strong>"Sometimes they make it difficult for me to even walk and they don't allow me to use my vocal cords like I used to." She won't be alone on this arduous path she has to travel: "A great medical team is working alongside me to help me get better, and they also give me hope and support for my children."
At 54, C\u00e9line Dion sees how the dream of offering a tour to her fans is fading, but she has no choice but to put the brakes on because her health comes first: "All I know how to do, all I've done in my life and what I love most is singing.<\/strong>, she confessed, unable to hold back her sobs. <\/p>\n
